Jose Luis represented Mexico in numerous internationalconferences in AIESEC and was also part of bidding for and organizing the International President’s Meeting in Mexico in 1968. Not satisfied with only representing his country at international AIESEC conferences, Jose Luis also later represented Mexico in negotiations with the World Bank and the International Financial Institution when he was head of the treasury in Estado de Mexico. During this time he was also involved in CFF as chairman and stockholder, a French Steel Recycling organization, contributing to the protection of the environment. He was the General Director (CEO) of BARRA LATINO at which time he participated in the merger of five financial institutions.

The rest of his professional career is highlighted by a variety of senior roles in diverse sectors – he was a Professor in Finance at the same University where he founded the AIESEC Local Committee, was the Director of Olympia Werke Mexico, was Chairman of Cominsa Consulting, and is currently the Director of Automotriz Mexicana.

Jose Luis considers AIESEC the best school for life and the first step on the path to success and demonstrates his commitment to AIESEC through his support of the Member Committee. Apart from offering them his advice and guidance, his extensive knowledge and network of contacts in various sectors has enabled the creation of numerous partnerships for AIESEC Mexico. He has also been a mentor to a number of Member Committee President’s and has supported their attendance of international conferences. He also still supports the projects of the Local Committee that he founded.
