About the city
Ciudad Juarez is the most important city in Chihuahua, as well as the largest and most important border city in Mexico. It was named after Benito Juarez, who organized and led the Mexican troops from this city during the French Intervention war.
Ciudad Juarez 's location is privileged since it is surrounded by places with a great natural beauty and a great historical value. Located in the middle of the desert, in front of the Grande River and in the border of the United States of America, this city has been witness to important milestones in the country's history, such as being the place where the last battle of the Mexican Revolution was fought.
By definition is a business city. Hundreds of multinational enterprises have settled in this productive district thanks to its easy access to the United States. However, visitors who enjoy culture, history and the great outdoors will also love this beautiful city.
