2nd Annual International Conference of Human Resources 2008 (ICHR)

The best business platform of Human Resources and Organizational Development in Latin America.

On April 23 - 24, 2008, The 2nd Annual International Conference of Human Resources will take place in the World Trade Center of Mexico City. This event is considered to be the meeting for Leaders in Human Resources and Organizational Development in Latin America. Delegates will have an in-depth opportunity to review, analyze and transform their Human Resources vision, with the goal of achieving superior professional results and increased organizational value.

In 2007, this congress attracted more than 500 participants, 10 industry-leading speakers and more that 50 stands to our Business Center exposition.

Elections of new national committee

This year, AIESEC in Mexico celebrated the 45th National Conference in Mexico City hosted by the LC ITAM.
During this celebration, the national plenary of AIESEC in Mexico elected to the next leaders of the organization for the period 08 - 09.

During the process of elections, we had four applicants for the Member Committee President position:

- Martha Rivas
- Mariana Montiel
- Alejandro Tellez
- Juan Manuel Trejo

During the third round, based on our national compendium, our national plenary elected to the new leader of this amazing organization:

Mariana Montiel

Also, during this conference, AIESEC in Mexico elected to the new national vice-president of Talent Management for the period 08 09:

Ana Luiza Avelar
former LCP from Recife, Brasil

Ana Luiza and Mariana, will start transition during the first week of June and formally will start activities in July.
We wish them the best for the next year with a lot of challenges and mainly continuity for the projects developed during the recent years in AIESEC Mexico.

SBS. New Learning and Content Partner

SBS is company formed by a talented team with experience on Human Resources, Commerce and Operation.
After giving the support in terms of the true needs and possibilities of the customers, they define the methodology to know its business, design and improve solutions to achieve its goals.

Trough this partnership AIESEC will be able to receive trainings for our members, probably the opportunity for 1 incoming intern and we'll open our platform to SBS employees in terms of conferences. Besides, we'll be able to count with SBS experience in terms of planning on our next National Planning Assembly.

ANP 2008

National Planning Assembly 2008. Transition starts over this conference, here AIESEC members (Executive Boards current and elected) will be focused on what do they want to see for the next term at National Level and start planning 2008-2009 term.

Conal and SDL are coming

Right after our last national conferences, we started to work on preparation of our next national conferences - CONAL and SDL 2008.

CONAL is especially for LCPs, EB and old members. Main objective of CONAL are to elect new MC team, present LCs reports, make changes in compendium, approve LCs organizing next conferences and give training for EB and experienced members.

SDL is mostly for members, who didn't attend any leadership development seminar. It's main objectives are:
Personal discovery. Delegates explore their values and personal understanding of leadership and connection of these elements to their lives. Delegates realize steps to awaken leaders in each person.
Activating leadership and motivation. Delegates are empowered to confront challenges in their current leadership roles in life and their leadership roles in the future, within AIESEC or otherwise.
Personal development. Delegates develop leadership skills, which will bring them towards being excellent leaders in their lives. They are continuing their personal development after the conference.
Networking. Delegates are establishing an intense network amongst each other – future leaders.

MC 2008 - 2009 applications are opened
 
The last Friday, 30th of November, AIESEC in Mexico had the closing of the first round of applicants for Member Committee President and Member Committee Vicepresidents for the next period.

From yesterday, AIESEC in Mexico will host the second round of applicants, mainly focused on internationals.
This event, is quite relevant for the future of our organization, that's why we're promoting this opportunities with the members, who have shown results and with several countries with good position in the network of AIESEC.

The second deadline for internationals is the 14th of December.
The official announcement for candidates will be launched the 19th of December.

W8

From the 25 to the 28 of October of this year, was celebrated the W8 Forum of Leaders in Manzanillo, Colima. The objective of this forum was to join to more than 500 leaders from different areas in order to attend conferences and experiences from organizations of impact and related to leadership. The main responsible of organizing this conference was Victor del Rosal, graduated from ITESM Mty and who participated as EP four years ago with AIESEC.

For this event, AIESEC in Mexico was invited to attend the conference and also give promos and posters about the organization as developer of young leaders. This event was celebrated during the same dates of our national conference, therefore, a representative was chosen to attend to this conference and explain what AIESEC does and promote our main activities. This person was Constanza GomezMont, who is currently working in LC ITAM in the area related to projects and a sustainable development.

In the forum were participated:
- More than 500 leaders from different parts of the world and the country.
- Bob Doyle, expert in the "Atraction Law", Atlanta, GA
- Chellie Campbell, expert in personal finances, Los Ángeles, CA
- Isha, specialist in topics related to spiritual balance, Costa Azul, Uruguay;
- Patrick Devlyn, Vicepresident of Devlyn Group.

CR Day

What? Corporate Responsibility Day AIESEC in Mexico 2007
What about? Gathering different sectors, experiences and perspectives to build a complete and dynamic day for learning and projects development over Sustainable Leadership in Mexico: this is the main goal of the Corporate Responsibility Day.
When? October 26th 2007
Where? Instituto Politecnico Nacional, UPIICSA, Mexico City
What possibilities companies have? to support and participate of the CR Day, sharing your ideas, presenting your best practices about social responsibility and sustainable development all this made through dynamic activities.

TRS - The objective of the conference is motivating the newies to take responsibilities in their own learning and development role. The conference should clarify them that their personal development is mainly up to them.

XM –The objective is to evaluate the implementation of national strategies, planing review and the execution at local level.
And bring down information from IC and inform witch global strategies we will apply. This conference is for EBs and members with experience in the organization.

NOPS – This conference is for preparion of EP´s to live their exchange experience; practical and cultural preparation. They will learn about first-hand experiences of Returnees, Trainees and they will interact with new and experienced AIESECers.

45th Anniversary

AIESEC in México is getting ready to celebrate 45th National Anniversary, and 60th International Anniversary.

In June 2008 we are going to have the central celebration (specific date for confirm it), at Mexico City, to show, share, and celebrate what we have been doing, and what and how we envision!

This celebration will have a forum during the day and at the end of the same day a Stakeholders Gala, where we will have different entities of AIESEC (Alumni, Companies, Embassies, Members, Universities, Families, and Media Partners).

AIESEC in Mexico and The MBA Tour invite you
