New National Leadership Team is Elected! AIESEC Mexico is very proud to announce that we had elected two of the leaders that will be guiding the country for the next term. This two passionate and committed leaders are : Octavio Soto (Member Committee President elected) and Mariana Montiel (Vice President in AIESEC in Mexico elected) It was a great experience that we could share with the people of our National LDS who for sure in the future will be running for these positions. This happen at CONAL, our National Conference, during the second week of January at Culiacan, Sinaloa. It was the first conference ever in this city and we are proud of the team that brought together the conference as they facilitate us the delivery of two parallel agendas. As you can see there are still positions in the MC available and if you didn't decide to apply during CONAL, this is your last change to turn your life into a great AIESEC eXPerience and be part of the leadership team of AIESEC Mexico for the term 07-08. The MC 06-07 also wants to congratulate to Sebastian Bustamante who was elected as Member Committee President in Southern Cone and Alejandra Baez who was elected as AIESEC in Spain Member Committee Vice President of Finance!!! |

AIESEC on the Newspaper In hopes of achieving greater recognition for the amazing things that are occurring in AIESEC, an article was published on January 22 by the newspaper Reforma with the title “Forjan en AIESEC a futuros líderes - Promueven agentes de cambio” after an interview held with two members of the national team. These kinds of publications will do much to promote our image as an organization that activates leadership in young people to have a positive impact in society. Let’s make AIESEC a household name!. AIESEC in Mexico, in order to strengthen the national structure and our learning platform, aiming to create more and more leadership opportunities, and trough this way, activating leadership, is nowadays in a huge campaign of partner’s creation. It is a great pleasure to announce that the CALZEDONIA INTIMISSIMI (www.calzedonia.com) is a new national TALENT partner. Through this partnership we'll be able to give concrete opportunities to our members in the Heading for the Future stage of our AIESEC Experience in terms of professional development and engagement in organizations aligned with AIESEC values and Identity. In order to strengthen the chance to give our members and partners a Corporate Responsibility (CR) experience through AIESEC, AIESEC in Mexico is organizing the 2006 2007 CR Day, which will take place the 27th of October in the Monterrey Tec campus in Córdoba Veracruz. The day, which will be held during all the agenda, will be comprised of 3 conferences which aim to leverage and get our audience conscious about the topic, 1 panel of externals which will gather different perspectives around the topic, 16 workshops in which our invited companies will showcase their best CR case practices and 20 learning circles comprised of AIESEC members, everything under a complete and dynamic learning environment, as only AIESEC can produce it. |

AIESEC in Mexico Stakeholders Gala 2006

The Stakeholder Gala 2006 was a beautiful night to bring together the people that care about AIESEC and the mission of generating a positive impact in society. We were pleased to welcome around 30 alumni, 30 members, and 100 representatives from partnering organizations. The night began with a calm reception of all guests and the agenda began with a video presentation of the International Congress of AIESEC 2004 in Germany. Key partners were recognized for their support of the organization and the new national team of AIESEC Mexico was presented. A section of the agenda was spent on presenting the National Product Portfolio which offers various options for organizations and companies to partner with AIESEC. Following this, was a presentation of a proposed structure for working with alumni. The final part of the agenda was given to a presentation about the Forum de las Culturas that will take place in Monterrey in 2007. The last part of the evening was open for networking that was complimented by a variety of hors d’Oeuvers and drinks. |
